Account Types

Personal Account:
The Personal Account type is usually right for a private person to use to establish an account, generally to store their personal precious metal holdings.

Joint Account:
The Joint Account type is usually the right type of account for two individuals wishing to maintain joint ownership of the precious metal assets. Think of this in a similar manner as a joint checking account at a bank.

Business Account:
The Business Account type should be selected by an authorized representative of a business that wishes to create an account for the storage of the businesses' precious metal assets at the depository. This account type would most likely be used for a Corporation, Limited Liability Company, Limited Partnership, etc.

Trust Account:
The Trust Account type should be used to hold the precious metal assets of a legal trust established for the benefit of the trust’s beneficiary.

Estate Account:
The Estate Account type is available for the purpose of holding precious metal assets for an estate.
Depending upon the type of account, you will need to upload the following information when you create an account:
Personal Account:
- State-issued driver's license,
- Acceptable secondary form of identification,
- Proof of Address.
Joint Account:
- State-issued driver's license for the Primary Account Holder,
- Acceptable form of secondary identification for the Primary Account Holder,
- State issued driver license for the Secondary Account Holder,
- Acceptable form of secondary identification for the Secondary Account Holder,
- Proof of Address.
Business Account:
- Business documents (i.e. Article of Incorporation, Limited Liability Company filing certificate, etc.),
- State-issued driver's license for the account steward,
- Acceptable form of secondary identification for the account steward,
- Proof of Address.
Trust Account:
- Trust Agreement documentation
- State-issued driver's license for the account steward
- Acceptable form of secondary identification for the account steward
- Proof of Address
Estate Account:
- Letters of Administration
- State-issued driver's license for the account steward
- Acceptable form of secondary identification for the account steward
- Proof of Address
